The 12-hour process

From form submission
to working AI Employee.

No slide deck. No discovery call required. Submit your business details, and within 12 hours you're talking to a working prototype trained on your business.

01
Hour 0 · You submit the form

You tell us about your business.

You fill out a single form: business name, website, the kind of calls you typically get, and any specific scenarios you want the prototype to handle. That's it. No two-hour discovery call. No 30-page brief. The form takes about three minutes.

02
Hour 1 · We learn your business

Your website becomes training data.

We crawl your site. We pull out your services, your service area, your team, your differentiators, your tone. We supplement with public information about your business — your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your social presence. Within an hour, our system has a working understanding of who you are and what you do.

03
Hours 2 – 8 · We build the employee

Custom-trained, not template-pulled.

Your AI Employee is built from the ground up for your business. Voice characteristics. Tone. Knowledge of your services. Familiarity with the most common scenarios in your specific corner of the roofing world (storm restoration, residential, commercial, solar — they each have different conversation patterns). We don't pull a template. We build a person.

04
Hours 9 – 11 · We test the employee

We run real calls through it.

Before you ever hear it, our team runs scripted and unscripted calls through your prototype. We check that it handles edge cases, that it stays in character, that it doesn't go off-script when a caller throws something unusual at it. Roofing calls get weird — angry homeowners, confused insurance adjusters, vendors trying to upsell — and the prototype has to handle all of it.

05
Hour 12 · You get the call

You receive a phone number. You call it.

We text you a phone number. You call it whenever you want. You hear your AI Employee answer. You talk to it like you're a customer. You ask hard questions, throw curveballs, see what it knows and what it doesn't. The prototype handles roughly 20% of what the full deployment would do — but it's enough to know whether the voice and the conversational ability are there.

06
After the call · You decide

If you like it, we talk about deploying.

If you want to go further, we have a conversation about deploying the real thing. That includes integrating with your calendar, your CRM, your phone system, your insurance workflow. Pricing is custom based on what you deploy. Month-to-month. No setup fees. If you don't want to go further, you walk away. No pressure, no follow-up sequence.

Common concerns

What roofers ask before they commit.

Will my customers know it's an AI? +

Most won't. The voice quality is at the level where a typical homeowner calling about a leak doesn't notice. Your AI Employee can be configured to disclose that it's an AI if you want it to, and we generally recommend transparency for trust reasons — but the conversation flows naturally either way.

What if a call needs a human? +

The AI Employee is configured with handoff rules. If a caller asks for a specific person, has a complex insurance situation, or wants to speak to the owner directly, the call routes to whoever you specify — your mobile, your office line, a partner. The AI handles the routine; humans handle the exceptional.

How long does the full deployment take? +

Most deployments go live within a week of agreeing to move forward. Calendar integration, CRM integration, and phone number provisioning are the longest steps. If you're using common tools (Google Calendar, JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan), it's faster.

Can the AI Employee make outbound calls too? +

Yes. Outbound is a major part of the full deployment — calling back web leads, following up on cold quotes, calling completed-job customers for reviews, coordinating with insurance adjusters. The prototype focuses on inbound to keep the build scope tight, but outbound is included in the full deployment.

What does it cost to actually deploy? +

Pricing depends on what you deploy. A solo roofer with inbound-only call handling pays a fraction of what a 20-truck commercial roofing company with full multi-channel coverage pays. We don't publish pricing because every deployment is sized differently — but for context, the typical residential roofing deployment costs significantly less than hiring a part-time office assistant.
